Before you start

  • Collect the location name, phone, email, logo and address before you start.
  • Know the country, money type and time zone for that location.
  • Make sure you are in the correct location before saving anything.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Use Branch Select to move into the location you want to set up.
  2. Open General Settings and enter the location name, contact details and logo.
  3. Open Regional Settings and choose the country, then check the money and time settings.
  4. Save the changes and test a real page like Dashboard, POS, payroll or an invoice.

How to confirm it worked

  • The location shows the correct name, money sign and time zone after refresh.
  • Invoices, dashboard amounts and dates look right for that location.
  • Staff can clearly tell they are working in the correct location.

Common mistakes

  • Saving changes in the wrong location.
  • Changing the money type without testing POS, invoices or dashboard output after.
  • Changing one location and expecting all other locations to change too.
